This year the PTA planned several things for our teachers, but sent home a letter asking students to bring in a flower on Monday and a letter to their teacher on Friday.
We try to make as many homemade gifts when we can, so this year Owen helped me make a vase and paper flower out of recycled materials and things we had at home and then I took a picture of him and his teacher from the first week of school and made a card for him to decorate and write a thank you note in.
These are just a small token of appreciation for the amazing teachers Owen has! We are so very lucky!

Teacher Appreciation Week
Our PTA sent home a letter with a list schedule of events and appreciation gifts to send in for our teachers.
Monday:
bring a flower for your teacher...
Owen and I made these felt flower pins for each of his teachers.
I made a small flat card on www.picmonkey.com to attach them to. You should be able to save and print this image and use yourself. I used card stock for the paper.
Tuesday:
homemade cookies
Wednesday:
the PTA hosted something for the teachers
Thursday:
have your child make a card for the teacher.
Owen made a card and we picked her up a box of note cards.
Friday:
a chair massage was provided for each teacher by
Massage Envy
Thanks be to teachers and all they do!
