Ben's 5th birthday (Part 3) the family Celebration
We had a sweet and simple birthday lunch for Ben, so our families could come visit, see our new place and celebrate Ben!
Later that evening we went to the Japanese Hibachi for Dinner with Nana and BawBaw (my mom and Chip). It was a lot of fun and was probably the most the kids had ever enjoyed the dinner show.
Ben keeps talking about how this was the best birthday ever. Gotta love him!

Ben's 5th birthday (Part 2) at the Cheese
Ben requested a Chuck E. Cheese party (even after I tried really hard to persuade him otherwise.)
I think 5 is a BIG birthday and if celebrating at the Cheese is what he wanted, it's what he got!
and he said it was the best birthday ever!
after his birthday breakfast gathering, we stuffed a few favor bags (Monster's University cup, fruit snack and juice box...nothing too exciting.)
and then around 4, we left to get balloons and the cake and met up with a few of our little friends at Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate the sweetest 5 year old ever!
Ben's 5th birthday (Part 1)
We started Ben's birthday celebrations bright and early with breakfast muffins, our new neighbor friends, long time friend Julie and a a quick trip home from work by daddy.
After watching the movie Monsters University, Ben wanted a MU theme birthday with Mike the one-eyed green monster(the nice, not so scary monster).
I had my go-to super awesome friend Andrea make his shirt... It was a surprise and he loved it!
He didn't ask for much for his birthday. He wanted a super soaker water gun and when I took him shopping to pick something out, he decided on a small bag of pistachios. I talked him into picking out a Lego set and we surprised him with this fart blaster (so out of character for me and I can't believe I just typed fart, but he loved it...it's so him!)
Later that night we went to Chuck E. Cheese... To be continued :-)
