For Ben's actually birthday we surprised him with a sign, cards and door streamers as we do for every birthday and we had muffins for breakfast to start the day.
after breakfast we went to the mall for hair cuts! The boys went to pick out a piece of candy from the candy machines and the man servicing them let them get hand fulls for my 75 cents.....Ben said it was the best day ever!!! I also caved and let them get in the photo booth...I'm so glad I did!
When we got home Danny surprised Ben with a birthday gift.
Ben was not impressed. He said something like, "Yeah, I like better presents." Needless to say it went back that night and was exchanged for some Growing Crystals, ha!
That afternoon we met up with some friends at a great park over in Montreat to play and celebrate with sprinkle your own cupcakes. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful and loving friends! It sure does make everything more fun!
