Dear Police Officer,

a few weeks ago Ben told me he wanted to write the Police, so I helped him with his letter. He would tell me what he wanted to say and I would spell it for him to write. I was so proud of my little guy!

After he wrote his letter, I did what any proud mom would do and posted it on facebook. It wasn't very long after that a friend contacted a friend of hers who works for the APD to make this happen. 

Ben insisted we bring the officers donuts, So I stopped by DD and got a dozen for him bring. Cliche I know and what made him decide on donuts is beyond me, but hey, who doesn't love a fresh donut every now and then?!

 Officer Scott Pruitt and one of his partners (also Officer Scott) gave Ben a tour of the police car and motorcycle, turned on the sirens and lights and let him sit in the driver seat.

He was super nervous and you could tell, but after we left, he kept saying how cool that was!

We are so grateful for the men and women who work hard to protect us and who take time out of their days to make BIG dreams come true for our little ones... my sweet Ben!
